All you need for your trip

We completely support you both on and off the bike.

We always have one guide in our support vehicle (shuttle in tow) and another guide on the bike at the head of the group.

While traveling our staff, in case of necessity, will change your tire for example, or call for the shuttle or shuttle you up the hill, they will provide you with local insights and make sure everyone is enjoying their ride.

  • Passport

All documents MUST HAVE to be VALID (not expired).

Unfortunately without a document we can't rent the bike. Even if you have a tour or an bike Holiday we can't let you leave without a valid document for safety reasons.

What is included in our Bike Holidays

Not each trip is the same! You can check what's included in the specific section of the trip you like, on our website.

Anyway, it is quite always included:

  • Accommodation in the chosen facility
  • Electric bike tours of the chosen itinerary
  • Dedicated local guide for all the trip long
  • E-bike equipped with helmet, chain and lights for the night
  • Medical and baggage insurance

If you decide to travel with your own bike

Yes, you can use your own bike instead of one of ours, but please note that if anything occurs we can't grant the right assistance to it (we will travel taking all tools to repair our bike and isn't sure they will fit for your bike).

Not all the Bike Trips we offer are the same! Some one are really easy, Some other are challenging. We split the offers also using categories to let you find what is more suitable for your needs.

Before booking check these important information about our travels:

  • Maximum difference height (if we ride in mountains, woods or hills)
  • Categories (what are you interested in?)
  • Audience the trip is for

If you're unsure even after reading these descriptions, contact us. We will help you to take the right choice.

  1. Departure is guaranteed upon reaching the minimum number of participants. If this does not happen, you can change your trip or ask us for a full refund of the amount paid.
  2. For organizational reasons, the hotel could accommodate the participants in another connected structure, with equal treatment.
  3. Some accommodation facilities may request a credit card at check-in as a guarantee for any consumption or extra services (minibar, spa entrances,...). The card is unlocked at check out.
  4. The itinerary may undergo changes before and/or during the holiday for organizational reasons, climatic conditions (intended exclusively for strong thunderstorms and not drizzle) or for provisions of the local authorities.
  5. No refund will be provided for changes or failure to carry out the program due to the causes mentioned above. In the event of closures that cannot be foreseen at the time of publication of the program, we will replace the scheduled visit with other places of interest.
  • We look forward to seeing you in good shape to tackle this itinerary: carefully check the level of difficulty and the itinerary of the route, and ask us for help in case of doubts.
  • It is essential to know how to ride a bicycle with a minimum of experience in using it.
  • People deemed by our guide to be unsuitable for the trip, or with physical problems that preclude the trip safely, will not be admitted to the group.
  • There will be no refund for non-ELIGIBLE people.

Skill Level (BIKE HOLIDAY)

What to know about riding skills for our activities

A minimum level of confidence is required in using the bike because the roads we will travel on will not all be asphalted and on cycle paths, but we will also pedal on uneven surfaces and ancient roads.

Some of our bike trips also require basic training, although we will be using electric bikes.

Before booking, always consult the details of the activity, you will always find the level specified (easy, medium, difficult)

Balance is essential, as basic skill level on biking.

If you don't fell safe riding please do not book bike activities.

Instead, if you have basic skills, but you want to take part to an activity without worries we suggest you Villa Borghese Area to take a ride.

There aren't many cycle paths in Rome but riding with a guide will be safer for almost the tours we offer.

If you want to rent a bike and pedal by your own instead, we suggest the Villa Borghese Park or Appia Antica path ( but this last has cobblestone surface so please pay attention not to fall down!)

Yes, it is. Your policy covers medical baggage assistance up to 1000 euro.

The deductible applied for each practice is 50 euros.

Your policy covers medical baggage assistance up to 1000 euro.

The Cancellation is FREE up to 7 days before the start of the trip booked.

According to our cancellation policy, it is possible to cancel your reservation with a full refund only within 7 days before the start of booked trip.

It will be possible to cancel the reservation even in less than 24H, but no refund will be provided.

We only refund people with certificate from the emergency room of the Rome hospitals.

Choosing one of our Bike Trips means coming into contact with the traditions, history, gastronomy, art and nature of the chosen destinations, strengthening the connection between the participants of the group.

Our Bike Holiday are safety experience, you will ride your bike just behind your guide but you will always have our shuttle in tow. In case of tiredness or physical problem you could keep on traveling with us .

Our Bike Trip are far from the common ones. What is important for us are the experiences you'll do along the way, not really the lenght of the track.

Don' t worry about your luggage, we offer the transfer service (1 luggage per person included) all the trip long.

No it isn't. Our bike Holidays have minimum number of participants.

If we don't reach that number for that trip you'll get the fully refund.

Yes of course, if you don't want to share the room with nobody, you can ask for a single room, but there will be an extra to pay. Remember to select the EXTRA SINGLE ROOM option during the booking of your trip in order to assure you this extra service.

You can take your luggage with you ( one luggage per person) as it's included in the price of the holiday you paid.

If you have more than one luggage, you can pay for the extra luggage transfer service by contacting us.

Included in the price of your bike trip, there is the insurance policy.

Yes, you can take it with you on your back or in case it is quite small ( 6L) you can also store it in the handlebar bag of the bike.

You're welcome to join our tour, our software won't let you book the tour only for 1 person, but if you contact us, we will help you to get it.

Not all our bicycle travels are on cycle path or inside green areas, some of them take place along open car traffic streets (or traffic-limited roads) and it could be unsafe to ride with children. Anyway some of our bike trips are more safe (especially those taking place inside Rome) and they can be suitable also for younger children.

Going on a Bike Holiday means that you'll have to ride for a few hours a day on electric bike. There will be many breaks of course, but some of our itineraries could be tiring for children. It can be challenging for children younger than 16, who cannot use e-bike but only regular bike. (without a pedal assistance they would have to pedal by their own muscle power all day long)

All babies up to 20 kg, can travel on baby rear seat of the bike. Please note that it might be uncomfortable for children to remain seated for so many hours on the bike rear seat. For this reason we can suggest you the easiest and shortest trips to not to stress your babies.

Visiteremo luoghi di culto, quindi ti chiediamo di indossare un abbigliamento adeguato.
Attraverseremo aree verdi e siti archeologici: non prelevare oggetti, non danneggiare piante e non disturbare gli animali, così da mantenere inalterato il territorio protetto.

Le risorse sono preziose per l’intero pianeta: non sprecare acqua ed energia.
Le strutture ricettive hanno regolamenti interni che ti chiediamo di rispettare per garantire l’efficienza dei servizi a tutti gli ospiti.

  1. La partenza è garantita quando viene raggiunto il numero minimo di partecipanti (in questo caso 2 persone).
    Se ciò non accade, potrai modificare il tuo viaggio oppure richiedere il rimborso totale dell’importo versato.

  2. Per motivi organizzativi, l’hotel potrebbe ospitare i partecipanti in un’altra struttura collegata, garantendo lo stesso trattamento.
    Alcune strutture alberghiere potrebbero richiedere una carta di credito al check-in come garanzia per eventuali consumazioni o servizi extra (minibar, ingressi alla spa, …). La carta verrà sbloccata al check-out.

  3. L’itinerario può subire variazioni prima e/o durante la vacanza per ragioni organizzative, condizioni climatiche (intese esclusivamente come forti temporali e non semplice pioviggine), o disposizioni delle autorità locali.

    Non è previsto alcun rimborso per i partecipanti non idonei.

  5. Ti preghiamo di indicare al momento della prenotazione eventuali allergie, intolleranze o abitudini alimentari (es. dieta vegetariana o vegana).
    Comunicheremo le tue richieste alle strutture, ma per sicurezza porta con te una piccola scorta di alimenti speciali (es. senza glutine).

  6. Ricorda di effettuare il check-out la mattina del secondo giorno, subito dopo la colazione, così da non dimenticare eventuali documenti lasciati in hotel al check-in.
    Infatti, al termine del tour non tornerai in hotel: il tuo bagaglio verrà trasportato dal nostro servizio transfer direttamente al punto di noleggio (meeting point).

  7. Il servizio di trasferimento bagagli incluso nel pacchetto comprende solo ed esclusivamente un trolley di dimensioni piccole/medie per persona.

Discovering the city by bicycle is an environmentally friendly and responsible way to travel that respects the environment and cultural heritage.
Non-pollution, however, means much more: don't leave a trace of your passage, don't abandon waste.
We will be visiting places of worship, so wear appropriate clothing.
We will pass through green areas and archaeological sites, not picking up objects, damaging plants or disturbing animals in order to keep the protected territory untouched.
Resources are precious for the whole planet: do not waste water and energy.
Accommodations have internal regulations that we ask you to follow to ensure the efficiency of services to all guests.

READ BEFORE BOOKING

  1. Departure is guaranteed upon reaching the minimum number of participants (in this case the number is 8). In case this does not happen you can change your trip or ask us for a full refund of the paid fee.
  2. Electric bike is not included in the total cost of the trip (unless extra rental option selected).
  3. Pack the perfect bag for your bike trip! Traveling light is essential to fully enjoy a bicycle tour. Remember that your luggage will be with you the whole way, so bring only what is really necessary and leave items that can weigh down your pedaling at home. Don't have the right bags? No problem! You can rent them directly from us. Send us a photo of your bike via WhatsApp and we will recommend the best bags for your needs.
  4. To participate with your own bike, you need our approval of the bike: send us photos of your bike to +39 3510043528. Specify the model, battery specifications and any useful details to understand its suitability.
  5. For organizational reasons, the hotel may place participants in another related facility, with equal treatment. Some hotels may require a credit card at check in to guarantee any consumption or extra services (minibar, spa entrance,...). The card is released at check out.
  6. The itinerary may be subject to changes before and/or during the vacation due to organizational reasons, weather conditions (to be understood as heavy thunderstorms only and not drizzle) or provisions of local authorities. No reimbursement will be given for changes or failure of the program due to the above causes. In case of closures not foreseeable at the time of program publication, we will substitute the planned visit with other places of interest.
  7. We expect you to be fit to tackle this route: check well the level of difficulty and the characteristics of the route, and ask us for help if you have any doubts. It is essential to know how to ride a bicycle with a minimum of experience in its use. Persons deemed by our guide to be unfit for the trip, or with physical issues that preclude the safe conduct of the tour, will not be admitted to the group. There will be no refund for people who are not FIT.
  8. Please indicate at the time of booking any allergies, intolerances or dietary habits (e.g. vegetarian, vegan diet...). We will notify the facilities of your request. To be safe, bring a small supply of special foods (e.g., gluten-free) with you.
  9. Remember to check out on the morning of the last day, right after breakfast, so as not to leave any documents required at the hotel during check in.
  10. Remember to charge the E-Bike battery overnight so that you have all the levels to ride the next day.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your trip reservation without penalty up to 1 month before departure. If you purchased the trip with the "Secure Booking" option, you can cancel the trip up to 1 week before, getting 100% of the refund.

  • The "group tour" starts with a minimum of 4 participants, if this number is not reached, you will be offered an alternative or a full refund.

  • This tour takes place in the center of villages and on wooded trails.
  • Minors can participate in the trip starting from the age of 16.
  • A minimum amount of experience with the vehicle is required (more if the bike will have a child seat or extension).
  • The guide, after a briefing, reserves the absolute and unquestionable right not to admit participants not deemed suitable due to skills or problems related to body/mind health to the tour, no refund will be issued in these cases.
  • The tour can be attended by anyone from 16 to 79 years old.
  • In the case of official/public celebrations and events in the center of the city of Rome, the tour operator can replace one or more of the highlights of the itinerary.
